Our wines.

Our pride and joy

Château Rousset has recently won numerous medals and prizes at a variety of official shows. It is like a decorated veteran, acclaimed by awards and honours and remains one of the finest estates of the Bourg wine region.

Château Rousset wine is depicted by a long finish, a common characteristic of Médoc wines, which explains its popularity among wine connoisseurs. If Côtes de Bourg wines were ranked, Château Rousset would undoubtedly figure as a premier cru.

CÖTES DE BOURG

Château Rousset is a historic wine estate in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg. Since 1631, the estate has produced wine from vineyards that are ideally positioned on a south-facing slope of gravel and clay.

Our wines are left to mature and improve in barrels and casks for fifteen months to enhance their body and harmony whilst preserving the fruit.

Served between 15° and 16°C, they are both pleasurable and rich in emotion.

BORDEAUX CLAIRET

Château Rousset is a historic wine estate in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg. Since 1631, the estate has produced wine from vineyards that are ideally positioned on a south-facing slope of gravel and clay.

Our Clairet, a dark rosé coloured wine, is harvested at optimal maturity; it is depicted by a delightful acidity that enhances both the wine’s freshness and the woodland fruity aromas.

To best appreciate the crisp intensity of our Clairet, we recommend serving it between 9° and 11°C.
