The vineyard.

Our know-how

In his work, The Châteaux of Gironde, published in 1866, Edouard Guillon refers to Rousset as the best known wine of Bourg, adding that William Franck, in his Wine Treaty, reported that the “wine harvested in this splendid estate demonstrates all the qualities of the premiers crus of this region, qualities derived from the location and southern exposure of its vineyard.”

It is ranked as a premier cru bourgeois by Charles Cocks in all the Cocks and Féret Bordeaux and its wines editions published from 1868 up until the early 21st century.
